TIP:
You will have to know your IP address to use the included
remote client software.
Something other sellers conveniently forget
to tell you!
Why?: IP addresses
are like phone numbers on the Internet. When anyone, including
you, connects to the Internet your Internet Service Provider
gives you an IP address. This IP address is what makes you different
then everyone else on the Internet.
Every time you reconnect to the internet your IP address can
and probably will be different then the last time you
connected. This is called a Dynamic
IP address. Dynamic means you get assigned what
ever IP address is available at the the time that you connect
or reconnect to the Internet.
If you need to know your IP address to connect to your DVR
which, you do with any DVR system, this can be a real big and
expensive problem for you.
Imagine if your telephone number changed every time you
hung up the phone. The next time someone tried to call you
they would get who ever was assigned your last phone number.
The same thing can happen when you try to call your DVR using
the IP address.
If you want your IP address to stay the same which, is known
as a Static IP address
then you can expect to pay a premium to your Internet provider.
Internet Providers know if you want this service they
can get away with charging you extra for it.
They take advantage of this fact.
I have seen the cost of a Static
IP address range from
$25.00 a month to $75.00 a month. I have never seen a Internet
Provider that offers a Static IP
address for free.
Our DVR system unlike any other
Stand Alone DVR that I know of has a built in feature that
gets around this monthly fee.
It's called Dynamic Domain Name Service
or DDNS for short.
This DVR has a feature built into it's software that
will report it's current IP address to a website (We provide
for FREE)
every twenty minutes or so. You can adjust the intervals that
it sends the current IP address to the website.
You can login to this website anytime, from virtually anywhere
to see what the IP address has changed to.
How cool is that?
Best of all we offer this DDNS Website
as a FREE service!
If you think about it, this feature alone over a period
of time will save you the cost of buying this unit.
Again, I don't know of any other Stand Alone DVR out there, on
eBay or anywhere else that has this feature.
What's even cooler is that once you login to this Website if
you have multiple stores with this DVR system you can access
them all right from the website.
As if this feature wasn't enough to
choose this unit over the others out there on the
market...
The website has a built in Browser based Remote Client
Interface.
So you don't even need to install the Remote Client software
that comes with the DVR.
This is another feature that I have never seen in any other
Stand Alone DVR.
This is a Professional High Quality Digital Video Recorder
that will literally pay for itself in savings!!! And you can't

to other DVR's on eBay:
We bought one of these systems form
another eBay seller to compare the their system with ours.
Wow! were we disappointed!
It's a 16 channel system that has 60 frames per
second.
Not 240 frames like our system!
When a person walked across the cameras view it looked like
they were skipping along.
The frame rate is really bad!
Very Choppy!
It's uses the old JPEG technology. The picture quality was
poor.
It will not accept a hard drive over 250 gig rendering it
virtually useless.
They are cheap, but that's all they are!
