We would like to take this opportunity to tell you about our new SKU-8900 series DVR cards. The DVR card that you purchased on eBay has been our best seller for a long time and is a great little system, but, our new SKU-8900 series systems have a lot more options and flexibility.

REASONS YOU SHOULD CONSIDER UPGRADING:

One of the biggest advantages of our new systems is that they will work with both Windows 98 & Windows XP. So, if you ever decide you want to upgrade to windows XP you don't have to trash the DVR card. As mentioned in the auction, the DVR card you got on eBay only works on Windows 98 systems.

Another advantage of these new systems is that you can put more then one of them in the same computer. You can't do that with the DVR system from eBay. With these new cards you can start out small with one card and later add more cards as needed. You can put a max of four of these new cards in one computer letting you add up to 16 cameras to your computer system.

	Most systems out there use daughter cards to give you more camera connections (as seen to the far left). On those system your splitting the same 30fps by all the cameras which means that the frame rate really suffers. Adding more cards is a much better design because you don't loose the frame rate.
With each card you add your also adding another 30 frames per second of frame rate. Just like the old systems one card gives you 30 fps. Add a second card and you have 60fps. Add three cards and you get 90fps. 4 cards and your up to 120fps and that is great!

The software that comes with these new cards has a lot of new features that the old systems didn't have.

You can set it up to call you when there is motion detected in an area when there shouldn't be any motion.
You can have it play a message to you over the phone.
You can set the message to be different for every camera so you know which camera is calling you.
You record what each message says!
You can also have it email you a picture of what set it off.
You can play back the prerecorded video without stopping the system from recording.
You can use the computer for other programs while the system is still recording.
You don't get any of these options on the old systems.

These new system cost a little more but considering all the benefits it's well worth the difference.
