System requirements:
Windows XP - Will run on 98SE but will
perform poorly, do not use Windows ME.
P4P800-SE Mother board with 865PE Chipset
will not run on an AMD
computer.
Will not run on 915 chipset
computers. Pentium 2.4GHz or better for best
results.
512 Meg RAM - More is defiantly better
ATI AGP graphics card with
at least 128 Meg of RAM more of course is
better.
Direct-X version 7.0 or Higher - Screen
resolution must be 1024x768
You will need to either make a separate
partition or add a 2nd hard drive to store
video.
This is a requirement in the
software.
Recommended Motherboard: Asus P4P800-SE
865PE Chipset
We never recommend using Dell computers
We buy our computers from Ken at www.ezstation.com.
If you purchase a computer form Ken he
will deliver it to our office and we will
install the DVR card, test and ship the
system to you ready tested and ready to go
out of the box.

Features
Include: |
Recording
Mode:
Video Motion Detection - Can be
set to record only when there in movement in front of
the camera.
Can also be set to record continually 24 hours a day.
Can be set to record only on EVENT when alarm inputs
are triggered
Has pre-alarm feature letting you see what happened
just before the alarm was triggered.
Can be set to continues recording with motion
detection and by flexible schedule. |
Video
Quality:
I have to admit that this is
probably the clearest Digital Video Recording that I
have ever experienced. Our installers and customers
describe the image quality as Stunning! Even through
its browser or client remote access the video quality
is outstanding. When you combine this system 648X480
recording capabilities with a quality camera the
clarity is unbelievable. |
MPEG4
video compression:
Unlike other systems that use
Wavelet or MJPEG, MJPEG2, H.263 and H.324 this system
uses MPEG4 which stands for Motion Pictures Expert
Group and is the highest quality of all the
compressions listed here. |
Digital
Watermarking:
When you export video from
this system you can select to have it digitally
watermarked. This is an important feature when it come
to using your video for prosecution. It ensure that
the exported video has not been tampered with or
edited. |
Multi
Level Password Assignment:
Of course the system
administrator has complete access to all features.
Each new user ID and password created by the
administrator can be assigned different levels of
access just about all aspects of this system. For
example you can limit the cameras that a specific user
is able to see. That's just one example of many
options that can be set per user. |
Web
Based Server For Remote Viewing:
This system can be setup as
a video web server allowing remote access to the
cameras without having to carry any software with you.
Simply use the browser on just about any computer to
connect to the server and you ready to go. Work with
both static IP address and Dynamic IP addresses. You
can require users to have a log in or simply leave the
camera wide open. |
Client
Based Server For Remote Viewing And System Control:
The Client based remote
access interface program allows you to view al the
cameras and gives you complete control over all the
server functions as if you were standing in front of
the server. You can even play back recorded video
thought the remote client including audio.. |
Video
Controls:
Each of the cameras
recording speed, viewing speed and image quality can
all be individually adjusted. Video can also be
controlled using in comprehensive scheduling tools.
Even the audio controls can be individually
controlled. |
Record
time:
As with any DVR system
record time varies depending on how you configure the
software and the amount of hard drive storage space
that is allocated to the DVR. These systems are
designed to record continually. When the allocated
hard drive space has all been used up the system can
be set to push off the oldest video to make room for
the new. Depending on your systems configuration you
can record literally thousands of hours. The more HD
space the more time. |
Recorded
Video Playback:
Recorded video can be played
back locally or through he remote client software.
During playback you can zoom in on the reordered
video. You also can adjust the sharpness or blurring
of the on screen image to get the best image for
printing or exporting. |
Multiplexing:
Unlike most other systems
out there with this system you can play back
previously recorded video while still recording. The
recording doesn't stop when video is being
played back through the remote client either.
Your always covered! |
P/T/Z
control:
Each camera can be setup to
the with different types of PTZ cameras. Each PTZ
camera can be controlled both from the server PC or
through the remote access client software using the
onscreen PTZ control buttons. |
Video
Out:
Each card has one composite
video output. In the software you can control which
cameras are displayed through the video output. You
can set the output to continually display one camera
or have it rotate through all the cameras one by one
and you can adjust how log it displays each camera
before going to the next. |
Software
Note:
We buy the hardware for
these systems from an overseas manufacturer. They do
not come with software from the manufacturer. How ever
we are including a basic software package that will perform
all the functions listed above. It's good stuff! In
fact we are now using this system in our business.. |
