Notice:
This device is to be used with a TIME LAPSE VCR that has dry
contact alarm inputs.
It constantly monitors the video signal for changes. If something
moves in front of the camera that you have connected to this
device it closes a pair of contacts on the back of the device.
You would conned the dry contact connections on the back of
this device to the dry contact alarm input of your TIME LAPSE
VCR. If your VCR is set correctly then it will start recording
when the alarm contacts are closed. Please make sure that you
understand the operation of this device before purchasing it.

The VCR Controller
Turn your home VCR into a motion detection VCR
|

The VCR controller is by far the most inexpensive option when it
comes to recording video. This great little system works in conjunction
with the VCR that you already own. You simply place the wireless motion
sensor in the area where your camera is pointed and when motion is
detected the sensor sends a signal to the controller box which sends a
signal to your VCR just like your remote control would to tell your VCR to
start recording. The VCR controller will let your VCR record for five
minutes at which time it will stop the VCR. If motion is detected before
the five minute timer is up then the timer is restarted. This is a lot
better then letting your VCR run for 8 hours and having to watch all that
video just to get to the parts that have the action. A great idea at a
fraction of the cost of a professional recording system!
